The Administration department is crucial in maintaining financial and administrative strength. Our personnel includes a Financial Controller/Administrator, Human Resources Manager/Logistics officer, Accountant, Procurement Officer, and administrative assistants.

The family of Lighthouse for Christ Eye Centre has a capacity of 39 employees and we are looking forward to have 2nd ophthalmology and if possible additional OCO by the end of year 2012. The Unit has five departments - Theatre, Clinic, Maintenance, Private wing, Optical workshop, optical shop and Administration,

The Administration department comprises of the below offices:-

Financial controller / Administrator office: The Controller's Office oversees campus accounting activities and financial services by developing and monitoring the internal control environment; interpreting and enforcing policies; implementing financial programs; developing financial reports; overseeing campus financial systems; and evaluating the efficiency and effectiveness of campus business activities.

Human Resources office: provides a full range of human resources services for non-academic staff, including recruitment, employee and labor relations, compensation and classification.

Account office:  provides general accounting as well as managing security for the General Ledger System. Secretary, Logistics & Procurement office: Assists and supports campus departments in meeting their procurement needs, logistics planning and effective communication without and within the organization.

Main store. Keep accurate information about the inventories, products that are going out and how many are in the stock and what need to be purchased.

Hospitality: Ensure that our visitors are served with high standards of customer care at all times, food hygiene; accommodation and catering are done to meet the laid standards.

Plans in place

  1. Staff retention and motivation: Plan to retain the available staff by training and organizing for workshops and seminars to empower them.
  2. Bonding trips and team building exercise are also important to reduce work-related stress and opportunities for staff to freely voice their grievances, opinions and innovative ideas.
  3. Development of a pediatric ophthalmology centre.
  4.  Reach out and strengthen evangelism
